Leisure Travel Memberships

Welcome to Leisure Travel Memberships. There are several leisure travel memberships – and they all are a subset of tourism.  The best is World Ventures and we are independent reps for World Ventures. In fact – all videos on this website come from the World Ventures TV channel on YouTube.

Tourism is travel for recreational, leisure or business purposes. The World Tourism Organization defines tourists as people who “travel to and stay in places outside their usual environment for more than twenty-four (24) hours and not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes not related to the exercise of an activity remunerated from within the place visited.”

Tourism is vital for many countries, such as Egypt, Greece, Lebanon, Spain, Malaysia and Thailand, and many island nations, such as The Bahamas, Fiji, Maldives, Philippines and the Seychelles, due to the large intake of money for businesses with their goods and services and the opportunity for employment in the service industries associated with tourism. These service industries include transportation services, such as airlines, cruise ships and taxicabs, hospitality services, such as accommodations, including hotels and resorts, and entertainment venues, such as amusement parks, casinos, shopping malls, music venues and theaters.

For a snapshot of tourism by country – see the following chart gathered from Wikipedia…

Ask The Experts About Vacations To Go Reviews

Lizzie asks…

Your #1 vacation spot ?

I’m looking at going on vacation the beginning of September. My wife and I are looking for a good spot. If anyone has a specific beach and a hotel, condo etc…. that they prefer or think is the best I’d like to know. If we can keep the accomodations around $100 +/- a few that would be awesome. Let me know about your past vacation reviews. Thanks
